GMCVB PARTNERS WITH FILMGATE FOR “THE PRODUCER SERIES”
Film Lovers, FilmGate in partnership with the GMCVB present “The Producers Series – from Development to Distribution,” June 3, 10, 17 and 24, at the Downtown Media Center. This 4-week workshop will guide you to low-budget film producing for emerging and professional producers. Film Lovers aimed at fiction and documentary producers who want to increase their knowledge of producing and even co-producing. Learn from award-winning producers like Casper Andreas (Flatbush Luck), Andrew Hevia (Moonlight), Ana Serrano (Canadian Film Centre) and Caroline Waterlow (O.J.: Made in America) and more. FILM FESTIVALS DURING MIAMI FILM MONTH
The GMCVB and Film Lovers is proud to partner and welcomes the following film festivals dedicated to showcasing diversity and equality through the art of film.
American Black Film Festival (ABFF) – June 14-18. An annual event dedicated to showcasing quality film and television content by and about people of African descent, and supporting emerging artists to diversify the images and storytellers working in the entertainment industry.
